Chance and Romy

Meet Romy and Chance - two new OC's of mine.

This world is pervaded by a spectrum of energy which people simply call: Magica.
The Magic spectrum is shown to only a few creatures in this world and they see it in different colors. So far, four colors were explored.
Red, which allows someone to control the four elements.
Green, the color of healers and potion masters.
Blue, the spectrum of people who are able to possess one’s mind and draw curses and boons on others.
And Black, the color of necromancers, who are able to talk to the dead and sometimes even make them move.

After centuries, no other color of the great magic spectrum was found so the people believed that this is all that will ever exist.
An old superstition says, that a person who holds all four powers would reign this world thus would be king or queen of humankind. But this kind, called white magica, is forbidden since people thought; it would be too dangerous to allow a single person to exploit all kinds of color.

A new student to the school of witchcraft was right in time for her entry tests. She solved the red magic parts, she solved the green magic parts. It is quite unusual to be able to control more than one color of magic but after she was in a practical lesson of black sorcery, she saw a totally different color in the spectrum. It was purple.
The student called Romy was not just able to make a corpse move, she brought the soul back to its body!

The corpses used in the black sorcery lessons where those of criminals and nameless street persons. Romy brought back a sinfully soul of a street child who happened to steal and rob others. That’s why the body of the newly awakened corpse grew some deformed, demonic limbs. The masters of the school were astonished and after realizing what Romy did, they wanted to put her in jail. Bringing back a vanished soul, creating a demon on earth – what else could they do to her?

The street girl couldn’t remember much of her past as a human. She mostly had her short stay at hell in mind and in her soul. When she saw the bright light that reached after her as she wandered through the deserts of hell, she grabbed it desperately. The street girl saw that they were to hurt her living remedy – Romy – so she knocked out the Magica masters and their guards and escaped with the very first user of purple magic.

Romy later called her first revived soul, Chance.

Since Chance’s stay at hell was only a couple of weeks, she still remembers some of her old habits and places where she used to be as a human. She can’t remember her Name though. Every time she's doing something she's aware of not being right or even when her emotions are hyped up, the little horns on her head are glowing bright purple. This doesn’t have any effect on her abilities.
She’s also aware of her appearance but doesn’t really care about it, she cares more about the impact it has on Romy. Showing her demonic self in public means, Romy get’s problems.
Chance treasures the clothes she got from Romy… actually she treasures everything she gets from Romy – she’s following her like a pup. The spikes on her skin are retractable if she concentrates well, but mostly she’s too lazy.
